Meet our Speakers:

Kate Barrett, President of The Campbell’s Foundation and Director of Community Affairs, The Campbell’s Company
Kate is responsible for setting the strategy and direction of Campbell’s community affairs and foundation work, including philanthropy, employee volunteerism and giving, and disaster relief. Campbell’s community work focuses on the communities where the company has operations across North America, with particular emphasis on increasing food and nutrition security. Kate is passionate about the intersection between the private and social sectors, and the role that companies can play in impacting social change. Prior to joining Campbell’s in 2017, Kate was a program director at The Center for High Impact Philanthropy, and before that, she spent many years working in the private sector for a variety of companies, including as a consultant with the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Kate received her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her bachelor’s degree from Brown University. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and two children.

Andrea Patton, Senior Manager of Employee & Community Engagement, The Campbell's Company
With 15 years of experience across the nonprofit and higher education sectors, Andrea brings deep expertise in strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and volunteer program development. Before joining Campbell’s, she held leadership roles at the University of Pennsylvania, where she directed strategic partnerships and alumni engagement across a division serving 20+ departments. Her work included cultivating donor relationships, reimagining volunteer structures, and advancing inclusive pipelines for advisory and trustee roles. She also served as Director of Communications and Events for an international women’s organization, managing enterprise-wide engagement strategies and partnerships with philanthropic organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. When she’s not working or sneaking into the Campbell’s culinary test kitchens, Andrea is likely reading, enjoying live music, or exploring a new city with her family.
